Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. With stylistic inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France, our neighborhood restaurant aims to make everyone feel welcome. We are proud to offer a seasonal cocktail menu that also takes an ingredient-first approach and looks to mirror the creativity and ingenuity of our culinary team. Our wine list is curated around a balance of old-world staples as well as new and emerging producers pushing the envelope. Husband and wife team, Chef Greg and Sara Zanitsch offer Seasonal Cuisine with influences from Italy and France, an award- winning and affordable wine list and outstanding service. We're proud to be an award-winning establishment, having received the Top 50 Pizza for 2024 in US.
Pizza Baby East is the full-service Roman Café and Wine Bar, offering a selection of locally sourced mozzarella, antipasto, a rotating special, and our signature 12" Americana-style pizza inspired by the Eternal City. Everything is baked in-house, meticulously sourced, and clean label!
Located in the Elizabeth neighborhood, we serve pizza by the slice in a rectangular hand-held fashion, using our signature housemade focaccia. If you haven't been to Rome, our pizzas are reminiscent of street-style pizza al taglio.

Home to the flavorsome platters of South Louisiana, Cajun Queen is a converted home restaurant, the architecture of which dates back to the vintage early 18th century. A nostalgic iteration of the 1980's New Orleans greets the visiting patrons, with purple, green and golden themed décor priming the interiors at Cajun Queen. The dining experience is equally comfortable, and customers can cine in the living room, expanded restroom, sunroom or wrought iron rooftop terrace. From crawfish to seafood, gumbo to steak—the servings at Cajun Queen are a concoction of culinary choices. Fried shrimp, etouffee, blackened chicken breast, bayou platter, ribeye steak and frenbch cut pork chop are often the most ladled platters which customers like to order. Wine servings prime the bar area to complement the authentic Cajun flavors.

    The experience was amazing from start to finish. Shevy, our server, was absolutely amazing!!! The food was great and the entire staff assigned to my party took the time to acknowledge my birthday!!! Thanks, Steak 48!

    My wife and I dined here last night to celebrate her birthday. Our server was Michael. He was professional, prompt, attentive, and personable while providing an excellent experience! We shared the Lobster Cake appetizer, Elk Chop, and Beignets for dessert. With every bite of the meal we would look at each other and say “Wow”. The wine recommended by our waiter was not expensive and was excellent. I would highly recommend The Fig Tree

    The raviolo, empanadas, sea bass and chocolate tart were outstanding. Awesome Old-Fashioned and great wine pairings. Our server was extremely knowledgeable on the wines and the specialties. Atmosphere was upbeat, though a bit cramped. Overall great experience.

    The food was amazing! We had an assortment of items from the menu and our expectations were exceeded for every single choice. From the Jerk Chicken Noodle Soup to the Southern Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Jerk Lamb Chops, Cinnamon Roll Waffles... we're still trying to decide what our favorite part of the meal was - all of it was my favorite!
