I absolutely adored every single thing about this place. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was so warm and inviting—it felt truly magical. The food was beyond delicious, with every bite better than the last. The jazz music added such a classy and soulful touch, creating the perfect ambiance. Excellent food and service! The best entree of the table was the chili honey salmon. Even the sides were good (smoked carrots, broccolini, mashed potatoes). Bread appetizer was so good we ordered a second one. A lot of dishes had spicy flavors or a spicy kick to it. I was a little underwhelmed with the prime rib sandwich. For dessert we tried the wild berry sorbet and tres leches cake. The cake was tasty but not quite dense enough for all the liquid and the sorbet was delicious and refreshing, generously garnished. All in all we had an excellent experience.

The dinner was amazing, staff was friendly and very attentive. Wine list/ cocktails are superb! This is a steakhouse and the steaks ordered at our table reflected why this is such a popular restaurant!! Our appetizers, salads and soups delicious, too. My only suggestion to management is improvement of seafood entrees. My salmon was “just ok,” and I immediately regretted not ordering steak with the price of entrees. ( To be fair, my husband told me to never order seafood at a steak restaurant, and I will not in the future:). Great place for a special occasion and we love to visit while visiting Chicago!

Great dinner at his old school restaurant with a modern menus. Spent my wife’s birthday, Aldo our waiter was excellent, garlic tuna crackers nch roll was outstanding. Crab, Ousters and lobster was perfect, and the filet fillet was one of the best I have had. Get “the Signature”, a great food experience. This place sets the standard for why Chicago food reputation is epic. We can’t wait to go back.

Amazing views and ambience. Great lunch menu and both the burger and chicken sandwich were fantastic. Kids menu was also nice. Our server, Alex, was so professional and personable. My son met us over his lunch hour and Alex timed his food perfectly to his arrival.
