Mother Anna's is a hidden gem in Medfield. The food feels like you're going to your favorite restaurant in the North End. Best Caesar salad, highly recommend! The Veal Roberto is my favorite, but I've never been disappointed by a meal there, even for take-out. It's clear that the owners take great pride in everything they do!

Valentine's Day Dinner - we did not attend the event; we just had dinner. The food was delicious. We had the short ribs appetizer, duck ragout, and pork shank. The pasta for the duck was perfectly al dente. Everything had a nice presentation. We were full without being stuffed. The drinks were good (the old-fashioned was a little watered down) and, while we did not get a smoky drink, it was fun to watch other guests have them served up. The noise level was just right for date night. This was our first visit so I do not know if that was because it was all couples or if that is their normal sound level. We will definitely go back.

I have no idea how a small town got so lucky. This restaurant is outstanding and could easily be in Boston (please don’t go tho). The food is unreal. We get something different every time and have yet to not be blown away. Everything is so thought out, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and executed. The staff are always friendly and prompt with service. I have zero complaints and probably more compliments than would fit in this review.

First time there and it certainly had that North End of Boston vibe; the share plate selection was really good, entrees prepared well with a nice presentation. Service was excellent and the entire restaurant was buzzing. I would say that Westwood has a nice neighborhood restaurant with the addition of Bar Cino; its location is close enough to Rte 128/95 that it can be a nice detour while travelling. Bon Appetito

We arrived on time and were greeted with a big smile from the hostess, Linda. Our table was waiting and Theresa, our waitress, came over and brought water and took our drink order. We had some delicious Pinot Grigio (Fini) and started with clams casino, which were cooked perfectly. We then had salads which were crisp and fresh. We both got chicken picatta served piping hot. For dessert we had the crème brûlée. The restaurant had a nice crowd and the dinner was a perfect 10. My friend and I were catching up and never felt rushed. Theresa knew exactly when to check on us and always made sure we had what we needed. Basil has always been a favorite of ours and as we walked out we made plans for our next visit. People say this is a hidden gem in Medfield and they’re not wrong. Outstanding experience!
