We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. We had the upstairs bar to ourselves and made for a really intimate experience. We received a peach Bellini on arrival and settled into learning methods and sampling some cocktails. After an hr we headed downstairs for a snack and another cocktail, the scotch eggs were amazing. A great end to a fun and knowledgeable experience would highly recommend to others. We didn't ask as we wanted to experiment with no strings attached; what a lovely gesture from him. The rest of the food was impeccable as always, and the atmosphere is romantic and cheerful.
