The ambience was warm and festive. Our server was lovely. She was friendly and helpful. The food was next level good. Our party enjoyed the lasagna, clam linguine, agnolotti and rigatoni with meatballs. All delicious. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and the cake with pistachios. Also both delicious. Our ONLY issue was that there was an event going on upstairs that was so loud and obnoxious that I couldn't hear my own wife talking right next to me. The staff did what they could, but, as it was explained to us, given the separation between the two components (events and restaurant), the restaurant staff doesn't have any actual control over the events.
