That said, our waitress forgot to bring my friend her cocktail, we waited a long time to cheers to my birthday as a result and then, even knowing it was my birthday kept asking if we were done or wanted to order a desert multiple times instead of just letting us enjoy our conversation or being thoughtful and bringing something as a nod to my birthday and the fact that we waited 20 minutes for the other cocktail to arrive (she probably forgot to order the second one…, it was that delayed).
