Situated minutes from Downtown, Nick & Sam’s is a contemporary steakhouse featuring selections of prime meats as well as American and Australian Kobe and a variety of seafood. We offer a mostly American wine list of over 400 labels plus an international selection, with 20 wines by the glass.
USA Today says “well-done”, ZAGAT “very good to excellent” and a 2008 recipient of the Five Diamond Star Award.

Great experience for 24th eve, our family enjoy the the food, but an issue with appetizers. The servers overwhelmed us with these servings all at once. We would preferred leaving the several dishes in the large center rotating tray they provided us. They also gave appetizers that we didn’t ordered and one of our family members is allergic to seafood, which we initially advised, so it was also very distasteful on the staff not remembering this.

Overall my family of 4 enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at Nick and Sam’s. It was our first time and we really enjoyed the food. The service was top notched. I liked how they offered to serve you your sides and split your steaks at the table. The prices were comparable to other Dallas steakhouses. The food quality was top notch with our rib eye being extra tender. It also has an extensive delicious dessert menu. I have two complaints: although our reservations was at 8:30, we weren’t sat until 9:20 because we requested a booth; also the restaurant tends to be quite noisy but that may have been because it was extra crowded for the holiday. I’d recommend an early or late dinner reservation because by 10 it was much quieter.

Atmosphere was festive and special. Food was just OK. Scallops were overly salty. Filet was just ok. Someone ordered the hotdog and the waiter never disclosed to us that it was a 3 foot long monster that would take up our entire table. A table that was tiny as it was. I’ve had better meals for a third of the price.

Waiter (Jack) was prompt and efficient. However, our desire was to have a leisurely Christmas Eve dinner, but Jack explained that Chef wanted orders filled before finishing our starter and our cocktails. And sure enough along came our entrees! It was all about turning tables for the establishment ! Will never reserve at Nick & Sam’s on Holidays!!

I made our reservation back in September. Requested a table in the MaIn Dining room. We were seated in a crowded party room. Not impressed with the seating.

It was quite busy on Christmas Eve and our food was not served the way we used to have it here. We wish we came on a different night.

We had an amazing dinner tonight! It was as especially great because it was our kids first experience. Santa was there and they were handing our Nick & Sam’s cow plushies to the kids.

Always a blast celebrating the holidays with our traditional Christmas Eve meal at Nick & Sam’s. Loved the holiday specials, go to martini, Waygu and the Chili Sushimi. Banana Pudding Cheesecake closed things off for the night. Awesome attentive staff and hostesses always welcoming. Only issue was Santa Claus 🎅🏻 hitting on my mom. 🤣
