Situated minutes from Downtown, Nick & Sam’s is a contemporary steakhouse featuring selections of prime meats as well as American and Australian Kobe and a variety of seafood. We offer a mostly American wine list of over 400 labels plus an international selection, with 20 wines by the glass.
USA Today says “well-done”, ZAGAT “very good to excellent” and a 2008 recipient of the Five Diamond Star Award.

Everything was perfect only thing was that the cake icing tasted old and refrigerated almost spoiled We had a great time with every thing else Just the desert was the only downer

We came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. The food was amazing ! Service was on point. My wife and I enjoyed it. The only thing different then many of the other restaurants we have visited on our anniversary was that after asking why we where coming places like Del Frisco and 3 Forks make the experience even better offering a dessert. Nothing that would stop this visit from being wonderful yet I thought I’d be honest with my review. Thanks again for a wonderful meal. We would come back as the steak is perfection.

I’ve been to NS about 15x and this was the WORST service I’ve ever had here. It was my husband’s birthday and another friend of ours. We had a party of 10 and I made the reservation in December. Reservation was for 8pm and we weren’t seated until 8:40!! Our server was AWFUL!!!! He kept forgetting things, he was very slow to respond to things needed. My friend had to ask for her wine 3x and I asked for takeout 5x!!! The gentleman who helped him clear the food was just stacking our plates up that we asked to be packed for takeout. I bought special made cake toppers and wanted it to be a bit of a surprise. But it wasn’t because he brought plates/utensils before cake instead of at the same time like it’s usually done. Our cakes were brought to the table UNLIT with the wrong toppers on the cakes then sat in front of the wrong people. It was just so many things. And the other 8 ppl had never been there as most were new to Dallas. I was so embarrassed. Here I was raving about how it’ll be their new fav just to have the worst service I’ve ever had there. We constantly had to track down the waiter for things we needed. 8pm reservation and didn’t start our dinner until 9:45. Totally Unacceptable.

I recently visited Nick & Sam’s and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the service and food were phenomenal, exceeding my expectations. However, my overall experience was marred by the atmosphere created by other customers, which detracted from the restaurant's previous romantic ambiance. It felt more like a club than a fine dining establishment. This was not the fault of the waitstaff, who were excellent, but rather the way the hostesses dressed and acted, along with the clientele, which lacked class. Taking all these factors into account, I would rate my experience a 3 out of 5 stars.

Cuando llegue no tenía mi mesa reservada lista . Tuve q esperar mucho por eso . Eso fue lo único q no me gustó . Pro todo lo demás excepcional me encantó el lugar el trato de los meseros muy bueno . Todo excelente .

This is my first time made a five star restaurant and it was absolutely delightful. I enjoyed the waiter and our seating was absolutely immaculate.

The service was not what we expect from Nick and Sam’s. Even worse is we brought friends from out of town and we were slightly embarrassed by the service provided especially after talking you up as one of the top steakhouses in the country. We have been there many times and were very disappointed.

My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day. Our sever was incredible, he made us feel welcomed and explained the menu very well. The food was great but not life changing and over priced in our opinion. We both had filet mignon with Mac and cheese and fries as our sides. It was crowded and loud because of V-day and our table was very small and unstable. A server mentioned they were rented tables to add more seating for the holiday. Lastly, the valet stole money from our car so we will probably not be back. It was not the upscale experience we hoped for.
