Situated minutes from Downtown, Nick & Sam’s is a contemporary steakhouse featuring selections of prime meats as well as American and Australian Kobe and a variety of seafood. We offer a mostly American wine list of over 400 labels plus an international selection, with 20 wines by the glass.
USA Today says “well-done”, ZAGAT “very good to excellent” and a 2008 recipient of the Five Diamond Star Award.

                                                                                                                                We like comfortable steakhouses and this one turned out to be the most comfortable. 2 of us got seated at a booth looking out at the whole restaurant with a large table to spread out our food and drink. Hate when we're crammed into a small spot with no room to enjoy dinner. This was great. Benny our waiter explained all the cuts of meat and seafood we were to choose from and it was very entertaining cause he brought a huge tray of samples for us to view and it was also very interesting to see. The food was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant

                                                                                                                                They seemed to be under staffed, so service was lacking even though our waiter was trying his best. Ambience was terrible and noise level was uncomfortable. Food was great but at this price level I was not impressed.

We were seated quite late and they could tell that I was upset and they gave us free drinks and even a bottle of wine that the chef Personally brought out and apologized several times. The service was amazing and we had a great evening celebrating a birthday!!

                                                                                                                                The atmosphere in itself was enough to give it five stars. The staff and service was great and all of them were so kind. And don’t get me started on the food, I got the prime-aged center-cut rib-eye. When I tell yall this was the best steak that has ever graced my tastebuds. The sides were just as amazing, the crab elotes almost made me pass out from how good it was. Nick and Sam’s, I love you. -Harlie

                                                                                                                                The service team is amazing. They did a great job. However, it is so dark in there that you have to use a flashlight to read the menu, a flashlight to see your appetizers, and a flashlight to see how the meat is cooked. If you don't have a flashlight, you're basically eating in the dark. At the point that you have to bring out a flashlight for everything, perhaps you should bring the house lights up a bit. The food was okay. We ordered crab cakes which were very good. The sides were ok, asparagus, brussel sprouts (which were overly dressed), and damn good french fries. We are a family of fiv. We travel a bit and often go to steakhouses. This is one where we were not impressed by the food.
