Nightcap was originally conceived as a place for sweet sustenance and sparkling cocktails. Since then, we have evolved into so much more. Our space is now known as a late night, date night spot for guests and friends alike. The cozy atmosphere is welcoming, romantic and is also a great place to dine solo. It’s a space to make new friends, enjoy some incredibly tasteful food and cocktails that aim to please. Nightcap carries an old school Austin vibe that is hard to be classified as a bar or restaurant. We like to consider ourselves as a nightly dinner party at your friends house. The idea is to come over, have a great time and let us clean up afterwards. On special occasions, glitter is our favorite color that is often paired with bubbles. We hope you join us for any occasion and truly enjoy your evening.

    We stopped in late night on Valentine’s for small bites and drinks after having attended a comedic play at the Dougherty. First time experience and truly an “experience”. It’s almost like we walked into the “second act” of the play; high energy, great people watching and people engagement. Christin, Drew, Sabine, Jake and everyone there were a blast. Food and drinks were spot on. Great environment.

    Amazing experience , great food , great ambience. Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend for a nice intimate date night!

    Brussels were really good, but the burger and pasta was literally the worst meal I have had in a long time! The vibe was weird and a total waste of money. Do not recommend

    Management was so disrespectful. They could not have been more rude. They acted as if they were not prepared for our large group even though we had reservations over two weeks in advance. Servers were doing their best and were being kind.

    The drinks were great just would not recommend for large groups. We had a reservation but got cut off after two drink because we were ordering too many too fast.

    The food was delicious and definitely scratch. The cocktails were a joy to order if not only for the names then for the flavors that arrived when our server delivered.  Kristen stopped by our table and she was so funny. Our server Emma did a fantastic job! Definitely coming back.

    Best hamburger I ever had! Servers were very friendly. restaurant was busy and probably needed a few more employees. I recommend this restaurant.

    Excellent service. The hostess and servers were beyond. They even offered us warm blankets and always kept your drinks refilled the entire evening. We had a fabulous, chill and cozy time. Only things that could make it better would be a reverse happy hour for better value on food items and a hot tea selection.
