Nostrana—literally ours—invokes local. Simple food from honest ingredients. Pure, regional, Italian. Opened in 2005, Nostrana is Chef/Owner Cathy Whims’ love letter to Italy. This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and purveyors, our dedicated staff, and of course with you, our guest.

We hope to offer something timeless and authentic in a beautiful space, the regional specialties of Italy deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest. We strive to be better every day.

We're currently reserving indoor tables and bar seating. When available, outdoor patio reservations may be subject to weather disruptions.

A Service Charge of 22% is applied to all checks at Nostrana, providing a professional and equitable wage for all team members.

The food is always on point and the wine list has a few gems ! The high-top table are a little bit small for two so make sure you get either a table or the bar sitting. You can't go wrong with the food, it's always good and very consistent (we have been there a couple of times at Enoteca and once at Nostrana) - Don't be afraid to ask the sommelier for a recommendation ! You won't be disappointed the plates are a good size the service is always friendly and on point !!! Definitely a place to go back and we will return soon !

Great overall. It is overpriced for what you get though. 22% added on the check is good for the wages of the staff, but in the USA tips are based on how good the service and meal was. My pizza was good, not great, and it was a little underdone and doughy/soggy. My partner ordered the squid and it came with one tentacle and the rest was potatoes and greens. My son ordered a pasta dish that also was good, not great. The ambiance and service were amazing. I would recommend this restaurant for those factors but if you are wanting great food, I would consider another option. If it were a bit less pricey it would feel more in line.

Nostrana has not only kept its place as a five star restaurant it has actually improved over the years. The main dishes have great depth of flavor and are served hot. Wine is paired with food by competent, friendly staff. We have moved from Portland but recently returned for a visit and ate at Nostrana. An employee recognized us from prior visits, years ago, and welcomed us back. That's a nice welcome from long time staff.

My husband and I visited for dinner, and we had a lovely time. Everything was fantastic; we plan to make Nostrana a regular dining destination.

Salad was delicious as always. Pizza was outstanding. New dessert was spectacular. Counter seating was best theater in town.
