We are currently serving our breakfast buffet 7 days/wk, from 7am - 10:30am. The price is now $30/adults and $16/kids (because of the soaring price of eggs), and it includes coffee, tea, or juice. We are now serving lunch again daily, from 11am - 2pm. On Sundays, we will offer our regular lunch menu, plus a small menu of a la carte brunch items. We open for dinner at 5pm daily. The kitchen closes at 10pm daily. The bar will stay open 45 minutes after the kitchen closes on Sunday - Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday, last call is 11:45pm.

Located under the glow of a Cambridge landmark and in the heart of Harvard Square, Nubar restaurant and lounge is now open at the Sheraton Commander Hotel. A chic neighborhood hangout emphasizing a comfortable bar and dining experience, Nubar restaurant serves food reflective of its surrounding neighborhood: smart, seasonal and approachable.

    We have two private dining spaces - the Berkeley Room holds a max of 20 guests, and the Garden Room holds a max of 37 guests. Larger dinners are done semi-privately. We have a fireside lounge area for cocktail groups up to 40, or expanded to include the bar for groups up to 100. The entire space may be available for events as large as 170 guests.

    Nubar breakfast features a comprehensive buffet, including: fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, eggs, breakfast meats and potatoes, French toast, omelet station, oatmeal, and assorted pastries and breads.

          $80. For a tacky hotel buffet on a weekday is insane. I guess they are trying to chase more neighborhood patrons away. Even captive hotel guests friends are bolting. And no lunch? They are on a Swedish death cleaning trip. Insane planning. Charge less, smaller plates. Bring people in- don’t chase them out.

          We have come here before, so felt we knew what to expect. It was one of the few restaurants still taking Valentine reservations. The service was excellent, but the food was subpar in both taste and quality. The sea bass had been prepared and in addition had sat on the pass thru for a while. The steak was overcooked and of mediocre quality. We will not be returning to dine here - it simply isn’t worth it.

          Our server was particularly good: helpful, efficient, friendly, but not intrusive. We had a pleasant dinner and did not feel rushed.

          Very nice Xmas Buffet, unfortunately we never seem to be able to eat enough to make it a worthwhile endeavor. Food and service were both great.

          Nous y avons mangé le 24 décembre pour le réveillon de Noël. L’accueil et le service étaient médiocres. La nourriture vraiment basique. Vraiment cher pour ce que c’était. Nous sommes parties déçues.. nous n’y retournerons pas.

          Great choice for us since we were already staying at the Commander Hotel. Armenian house special lamb chops was the hit of the night. Everything was well prepared, presented with care by attentive staff Overall, highly recommend.

          Usually very loud and noisy at dinner. This evening it was quiet and relaxing. Probably not good for establishment, but a quiet delight for the diners. Maybe first snow storm kept people at home.
