Wood-fired ovens:
Our ovens are specifically designed according to the needs of each of our premises. The preparation of our pizza is checked at every stage; from the selection of its ingredients until it is ready to be baked and cooked to perfection.

Flavors and aromas:
It is the ingredients that we carefully choose which make the difference. We select only products of the highest quality so that we can offer to all our customers a pizza which is always prepared according to the Italian tradition.

Certificated Made in Italy:
We only select Italian ingredients which have obtained both the D.o.c. and the D.o.p. certification; In this way we offer our customers a genuine and traditional product worth of its fame.

Cash only restaurant, but you only find out when you get the bill and they invite you to use their private ATM in the back. Arancini were a big disappointment. My friend was disappointed in his gnocchi. The calamari were fresh, crispy and hot. My pizza was the saving grace. It was very good. Service was not attentive.

Best pizza in New York, can definitely be compared to the best pizzas in Italy. Very friendly and professional staff, it is always s pleasure to come to 28.

An amazing place to eat for a date night or just out with friends. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is fantastic and the food is delicious.

We had the margherita pizza for an appetizer. It was excellent; crust was just right. I didn't hvae the caesar but the other diners enjoyed it even though the dressing looked lighter than the traditional caesar dressing; perhaps more sour cream than egg based? I am not sure. The main course pasta was phenomenal. It was house-made jumbo rigatoni with veal ragu. It was so flavorful and very balanced. The slight addition of red pepper flakes in the preparation was a nice surprise. Service was excellent, as well. As an FYI - be prepared as this is cash only restaurant. Would not hesitateto recommend this place for a casual Italian experience.

Food good BUT we were a family of 4 and my sons pizza was served 20 mins before the rest of us meaning he had finished before we started which was just wrong! Also not sure why 20 percent service charge included for ‘large party of 4’ Finally this is a cash only restaurant and ATM is in the restrooms!!

Abbiamo preso antipasti burrata e arancini, buoni, poi pizza buona e pasta con sugo e polpette ottima. Nulla da dire prezzo ragionevole per NY Unica pecca si paga solo in contanti.

It’s a cash only establishment which is an irritation. Also, it had no air Conditioning so it was too hot.
