   Celebrated 4 family birthdays last night - mom dad and 2 sons! We indulged for the occasion - raw oysters, calamari, deviled eggs and cold crab cocktail for apps. Many cocktails were had - Old Fashioneds, Prime Manhattan, Berries and Bubbly, Black Orchid, Dirty and Hot Martini, Aperol Spritz - all were superb. Richard’s service rocked - he was attentive and funny but not intrusive. We all went for steak entrees - 1 ribeye, 2 filets, 2 Wagyu filets - truffle butter and Bernaise were shared amongst us. We shared 3 Sides: Jalapeño au gratin potatoes, bacon creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms - all fantastic but we all agreed the mushrooms were the standout! Desserts: crème brûlée and chocolate peanut butter pie - decadent. Fabulous family dinner and we will be back again.

   After a semi rude greet we experienced nothing but great service. John our server was outstanding, he recommended personal favorites and was top notch. The blackened snapper was outstanding, filet was great although the truffle butter was mediocre. Highly recommend the truffle mac and cheese, it was like a dream. Carrot cake was great.    My mother and I are from Columbus, so we are well acquainted with Cameron Mitchell restaurants, ocean prime Tampa very much lived up to the reputation and service we are used to. We had Christy as our server and Sebastian as her assistant, they were both fantastic! I had the snapper, mom had the grouper, both wonderful! (The butter cake was also to die for)

   What a lovely lunch with Nick as our server. We both had the sushi and salad lunch special…rainbow roll and romaine with wasabi dressing. So delicious. We dined on the patio, which was perfect ambience. Perfect place for a meal anytime, but also before heading to the airport! Highly recommend!
