    This was probably the best experience I’ve had at Old Ebbitt Grill. We got seated in the bar area, which was warm and comforting on a cold, snowy night. Our waiter was awesome…incredible competent with just the right amount of sass. The food was amazing…everything we ate was delicious. And the company was wonderful. I can’t wait for others to come into town to take them here.

    Outstanding food and service. Waiter, Robert, excellent guide in oyster selection and wine choice. A vibrant, busy environment yet friendly and good humored vibe from both staff and diners. A portion of the restaurant is currently under renovation which made check in a bit crowded and hectic, but we were seated at exactly our reservation time. Definitely make a reservation and try the meatloaf, real winter comfort food.

    This place is fantastic! I came a couple years ago on a whim and it didn’t disappoint. I try and make it here every time I’m in the city. The atmosphere is awesome, a lot of cool history in the building. Definitely recommend!

    Old Ebbitt Grill is always solid. Service is usually solid (as compared to most DC proper restaurants) and the food is always great. Their raw bar is incredible (be sure to visit during oyster HH, everyday 3pm-6pm), the mix drinks are always tasty, and their menu/selection is always rotating and improving. Their management is clearly receptive to metrics and I appreciate this restaurant.
