Olio e Limone Ristorante, located in downtown Santa Barbara's ARTS District, serves artisanal Italian cuisine. Meaning “oil and lemon” in Italian, their restaurant’s name reflects husband-wife team Alberto and Elaine Morello’s philosophy: rely on the integrity of the ingredients and quality of the preparation to provide Santa Barbara diners “simply sophisticated” Italian cuisine served in an inviting atmosphere with European hospitality. Start with eggplant souffle, then tuck into a plate of house made duck ravioli or Sicilian spaghetti with bottarga. And be sure to take home a bottle of their own olio, an organic extra-virgin olive oil made from Sicilian olive varieties.
Bonus: their contemporary Italian breakfast, lunch & retail spot Olio Bottega, and authentic pizzeria next door at Olio Pizzeria. Private dining in the Cucina Room for up to 40 guests.

    We had reservations inside because we wanted a quiet experience. However, there were so many people in the restaurant pre-concert that it was incredibly noisy! So they kindly seated us outside which was wonderful, because we had an exceptionally beautiful day. Sound level perfectly acceptable outside. Food good, as always

    My husband & I enjoyed the prix fixe lunch menu. Our waiter John was helpful in guiding us through our menu choices as well as the attentiveness of the rest of the staff. We look forward to going back in the near future!

    We had an excellent dinner and the best service from our server Moreli. Quality ingredients and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed the New Zealand lamb and the Ragu Bolognese…both delicious and prepared perfectly. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

    A quiet anniversary lunch with the usual wonderful menu of Italian signature dishes and specials. If you want to push the boat out for a special occasion in Santa Barbara, we know nowhere better.

    One of the better Italian restaurants in Santa Barbara but really needs to pay more attention to service. Out waitstaff clearly forgot our order and we had to track down another waiter to get our wine served after a 30 minute wait. The waitstaff came back and apologized but it was another 20 minutes before we saw our food. To their credit they didn’t charge for the wine. It’s not the first time we’ve had issues with service here. At this price point they need to do better.
