                                                                            It goes without saying, the food is excellent- just read the other reviews. The service deserves an extra mention, as it is first class! Such friendly people who truly cared about our experience. Will definitely be back. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special.

                                                                            Avoid this restaurant at all costs! Our Lyft driver convinced us to dine here versus another steak house and it was a mistake. The place was half empty on a Saturday night and now we know the reason. The food was mediocre at best and the ambience suggests a business that is on its last leg. The food - the olives for my martini were so old they tasted stale, the duck wings were soggy and we shared the largest steak (the ribeye) and they sliced it in half before grilling creating less than 1/2 inch steaks that weren’t seasoned, while the truffle mash were so over salted your tongue tingled. The asparagus was woody and the best thing we had was the wedge salad and the sight of the door to escape with stomach aches and 200$ poorer.

                                                                            This was our first time eating at Omaha Prime and we had an AMAZING experience, thanks to our server, Tarina! Our steaks were melt in your mouth tender. We would highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

                                                                            September 14, 2024 -- Party of four with reservations for Saturday evening (6:30 PM). Seated immediately in a mostly vacant dining room. Based on the reviews, our party had optimistic expectations for Omaha Prime, particularly because of their convenient location in Old Market. However, our expectations went unfulfilled, almost from the start. Our waitress, who we later discovered had only been on the job 2-days took our drink order (2-wines and simple mixed drink). 20-minutes later it was delivered. Manager was standing behind bar and could observe what was transpiring, but didn't react. BTW, the wine list is anemic for an establishment of this caliber and price point. Dinner order taken at 40-minute point. After an additional 30-minutes and no salads or bread, I asked the waitress if there was an issue with the kitchen. She responded that it had only been 30-minutes since she placed the order with the kitchen, to which I responded, "Please expedite our order." Again, Manager standing behind waitress in bar area observing the conversation. 30-minutes later dinner was served, but a baked potato was missing from one of the orders. 15-minutes transpired before our waitress showed back up with the missing spud. Unfortunately, after the steak and sides were eaten. Granted, the food was prepared as ordered and above average in quality, preparation and portion size. Again, the waitress spent an inordinate amount of time trying to convince us to accept the spud and take it back to our hotel in lieu of just removing it from our order -- and then requested our opinion on how she could improve for the next customer. We are at 2 hours and 15 minutes at this point, no dessert order. Restaurant is mostly empty and our group is way beyond frustrated. We decided to forego dessert and requested the check. When delivered it still included the charge for the errant spud, which she later removed. Evening ruined! Not recommended. Management changes needed.

                                                                            Overall, it was a good experience. The service was excellent, and food prepared perfectly. The wedge salad and the blue cheese potatoes were outstanding. My New York strip was just OK, and mushrooms had too much sweet sauce.

                                                                            It was not worth the money. Service was fine but the place is old and tired. Food was less than good and way too expensive for the quality. Stay home and cook your own steak, it will be better.

                                                                            Service was not great, wine list was sub par. Steak was good and sides were mediocre at best. I was very underwhelmed by the experience overall. For the price I would have expected much more. With all the great steakhouses in Omaha, I would rank this one very low on the list.

                                                                            We took our family here and had a great food experience. The atmosphere was so quiet, as in, seemed to not be a popular place to eat locally. The wine selection was poor. Overall decent place to eat and if you have a bigger group to seat they would have openings when others would not.
