ONE53 is a ninety-nine seat cozy neighborhood restaurant & bar serving New American / Euro Bistro cuisine in a relaxed setting. We combine local hospitality with traditional & contemporary dishes.

Our menu features seasonally changing specials using only the best and freshest seasonal ingredients.

ONE53 features wines from the U.S. and Europe along with a full bar that offers a variety of traditional and specialty hand-crafted cocktails. We're located in Rocky Hill, just minutes from Princeton, NJ.

We've received glowing reviews from The New York Times, The Star Ledger, The Times of Trenton, and NJ Monthly. ONE53 was named 2019's Favorite Restaurant and Favorite Bar by Princeton's premier newspaper Town Topics.

ONE53 was recently named one of the Ten Best Restaurants in Central Jersey by OpenTable

    We eat here often because the menu is a nice mix of classic but with a twist. The food is delicious and always comes out hot. The servers are always courteous and helpful.

    Wonderful service. So many choices on the menu it was hard to choose. And so many specials. Will be coming back soon.

    We have enjoyed dinner at One 53 many times. Last night we took friends as our guests for dinner. We were shockingly disappointed with the menu and the food preparation. The food was served barely warm or overcooked. The vegetables were inedible; the pasta overcooked; and french fries were soggy. The seasonal menu was quite limiting. Management’s need to turn over tables quickly resulted in a rushed dining experience. We had barely had a chance to look at the menu to order drinks when the waiter returned to review specials. We asked him to come back later so we could enjoy our cocktails snd conversation before placing our order. We will not be back.

    BRAVO - WELL DONE! 5:00 on Saturday right after New Year. Almost full restaurant by 6pm. Our waiter was timely, attentive but not intrusive. Spicy shrimp appetizer - high quality ingredients cooked to perfection with toast baguette slices for dipping in addictive sauce. Not spicy so that is misleading. Grilled Octopus appetizer - perfect execution and taste. Cassoulet - a myriad of flavors - enjoyed everyone. A lot of beans. Flounder - Easy to mess up by overcooking but it was cooked perfectly along with green beans and light pasta accompaniment.

    We loved our early Christmas Eve dinner! The cassoulet was exceptionally tasty, and the angel hair pasta was delish. Our waiter was very helpful, our table pleasant and private: everyone agreed that One53 was a perfect place for our special holiday meal. We’re here from Philadelphia for a few days, and so glad that we are!

    Another wonderful dinner at One53 on Christmas Eve. The food was pure perfection and the service was great. Love the staff….they’re friendly and accommodating. Valet parking is a plus.

    Food was excellent as it has been on virtually every one of our visits over the past several decades. Service was as poor as we have ever experienced. Our waiter spent most of his time talking with other staff members at the end of the bar. He never refilled our water glasses and did not visit our table after the entrees were served.to ensure all was well with our food. I won’t claim that our waiter’s indifference ruined out meal, but it did reflect quite negatively on our evening.
