Or join us for al fresco dining on our open-air patio, as the dolphins and manatee swim by. Winner of many awards both locally and nationally, including an Excellence rating from Zagat as well as being listed as the number one restaurant in America in Power and Motoryacht Magazine for dock and dine. Ophelia's on the Bay has also been voted most romantic, best waterfront and best restaurant with a view by its loyal customers. The menu changes nightly using fresh and seasonal ingredients, fresh fish flown in from all over the world and specialty meats. There is certainly something for every palate! We went to Ophelia’s to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We have been going there for more than 20 years and never regret the choice to dine with them. Our server, Thomas, was superb and the food delicious. We had a crab cake appetizer, entrees of the coconut-macadamia snapper and tuna tartare, and shared a crème brûlée for dessert. All were fabulous! The only unfortunate part of the evening was a group of about 12 that was extremely loud and didn’t recognize, or maybe didn’t care, there were others in the room. Of course, we will be back!

I knew it would be pricey but I heard different opinions of the food recently and decided to try it. The food was delicious. One of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had and we eat out a lot. Most tables seemed to be celebrating something, as were we. It is a special occasion place.

My favorite restaurant in Sarasota. Food is delicious. Service and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. So cool to look out at the moonlit bay. The new bar is really nice. Wine excellent.

The Escargot Wellington - what a treat. Very delicious. Hopefully this will be a rotational item (or remain on the menu forever). Really really good. The Cervena Elk was perfectly cooked. Gamey and delicious. Much better without the sauce it was paired with. In my opinion anyway. The potato dauphinoise is always good, but it was extra tasty this time around. Cooked perfectly. Dinner overall was really good. Thanks!

Went here from a friend’s recommendation, but the Summer House is far superior than here. Food was ok just not as great as I was expecting.

The food and service were exceptional! This was our first meal at Ophelia's, referred by friends and we will definitely go back. Could not have been a better experience. Wonderful, surprisingly impressive service and expertise!

Our server, Bryce, was attentive and very knowledgeable about the wine list. We started with the beet & chèvre appetizer which was delicious. My wife had the rare tuna and I had the duck; both dishes were creative and of the highest quality. We finished with a piece of key lime pie. The service, food and ambiance were all top notch and the price is reasonable for the quality and creativeness of the menu.

outstanding food and drink once again at Ophelia's. One of my wife and my favorites in the Sarasota area. Special thanks to the Sommelier and our waiter , Bryce. Kudos to the chef. Outstanding cuisine with imagination!
