ORO Restaurant & Lounge located in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, is a fun, chic, and casual restaurant in the PNC Building at the corner of Martin and Wilmington Streets. Rather than offering individual starters and main courses, ORO serves dishes that are designed for sharing among friends and are brought to the table steadily and continuously throughout the meal. Offering an extensive wine list, cocktail selection, and a variety of local beer that will be sure to please all palates.

    It was what I should’ve expected from a trendy downtown restaurant but, for some reason I wasn’t expecting the small bites for the price tag. I will say everything we had was good however I don’t know if I will return. It was a good place to experience once!

    We couldn’t get our beverages in sync with our food. Cocktails arrived 10+ minutes after appetizers and wine 10+ minutes after mains. Our salmon was undercooked and had to be redone. Given all the errors a comped cocktail or item removed from the bill would have been appropriate. I can’t recommend this spot.

    Waiter seemed a little off- never asked us if we wanted dessert and brought the check prematurely. Tried to clear my husbands bourbon drink which he was still sipping. Food was great but service definitely not up to par

    Our only complaint was that it was rather chilly in the restaurant (coming from someone who keeps their house on 68). But it was really fabulous as always.

    The quality of the food is always con. The service is always very attentive and good. The drinks were excellent. This is a go to place for me when I want a nice meal downtown.

    Fantastic food! Loved the presentation and service. The center table dishes are a bit over-priced for the quantity you get but that would be my only real flaw with the place. Certainly enjoyed the tapas style experience

    I was excited to try ORO, but it was very disappointing. It took about 30 minutes for the waitress to even come over to take our drink order. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. The service was terrible. I would not recommend.
