Osteria Via Stato, a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant follows the Italian tradition of seasonally prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and artisanal producers paired with an all Italian wine list.

Open for Lunch, Tuesday - Friday at noon - 2PM.

Join us for Happy Hour everyday for 1/2 priced pizzas and glasses of wine, Sunday - Thursday at 5PM - 6PM, Friday - Saturday at 4:30PM - 5:30PM.

The Seven Fishes Dinner has become a tradition for many of our guests and we’re looking forward to sharing it with more people every year.” – Chef David DiGregorio. Join us on December 24th for a Feast of the Seven Fishes, which is a Three Course Menu highlighting some of Chef's favorite seafood dishes. $79.95/person, price does not include tax or gratuity. NOTE: The a la carte menu is not offered on this day.

            Fantastic! We ended up coming here after another reservation fell through and I am SO GLAD we did. The ricotta gnocchi with sage and butternut squash was incredible. Service was fantastic and everything was delicious. Highly recommend. I would choose this restaurant over other Italian spots in the area.

            Kevin was our server and he was amazing. Perfectly timed out each course. We ordered the meatballs which were sooo good. Next the calamari and pepperoni pizza. I’ve never had such good calamari. For entrees we order the short rib and filet. Both were amazing and cooked perfectly. The short rib was so tender it melts in your mouth. 100/10 recommend.

            Food was great and service was excellent. Felt a bit rushed as we got there for an 830pm reservation and they close at 9pm. Food came too quick between appetizers and main course. Other than that we would go again.

            This was our first visit but it will not be our last! Excellent service. Our server was down to earth and attentive. Excellent suggestions. Pacing was perfect. Food was delectable and very reasonable. How often can you dine on Chicago and have 2 entrees, 2 bar drinks and 2 desserts for under $100. Super extra bonus for a very large GF menu with lots of different choices. We will return. It’s a gem for sure

            My friends and I are really enjoyed the happy hour pizza and wine on the patio. Our server Matt E. made our dining experience quite special. Highly recommend getting calamari as an appetizer.
