    Very enjoyable evening. Nice ambience. Very good food. Veal Marsala very tender and delicious. Branzino was done to perfection and also delicious. Would definitely recommend.

    Food was good. Service was mediocre at best. Maybe our server had a bad day but she didn’t crack a smile the whole time.

    Our waiter Robert was fantastic. Everything from the pizza starter to apps and main courses were delicious. Best wine deal around! Check it out.

    Service was excellent. My husband ordered the pizza, and was disappointed as it didn't have that wood fired taste that Paese pizza's have been known for. Everyone else's meal was good. There was someone behind the bar that was making akward noises and doing so persistently and very loudly. Unfortunately, it kept disrupting our conversation's. Overall, the service was excellent, as was our server. Hopefully they'll bring back their oh-so-delicious wood fired pizza!!

    We enjoyed the Gorgonzola, pear, walnut & pear pizza as well as their homemade Gnocchi w. squash. This is my third 2024 visit to Paese. It’s a treat to have a restaurant of this calibre in one’s neighbourhood. What seems obvious is not easily achieved: consistency. Which is a key reason why I’m drawn to this establishment. Whether it’s one of their signature dishes, like polenta fries, or mushroom calamari or a new item. It’s well executed every time. The environment is welcoming, noise level is kept to a minimum which is a catalyst for conversation. The menu’s tagline “Inspired in Italy, Made in Canada” accurately describes how Paese balances traditional Italian dishes and avant garde ones. Try it and it may just become your go to neighbourhood restaurant.

    Paese’s new menu shows how much they listen to their customers, incorporating specials that have become our favourites into an already diverse and delectable offering. As always, the service was fantastic and friendly, the food was delicious and we left satiated and happy and ready to do it all over again soon.

    Don’t order the half chicken. Dry as the bone it came on. Stick with the Italian stuff. Everybody else enjoyed their pasta and pizza. Service was good.
