My husband, daughter & I enjoyed an early January dinner at Panza. Delicious bread & entrees…we particularly enjoyed the calamari appetizer & eggplant parmigiana entree. The host and server were very friendly and helpful. Panza’s interior is small but atmosphere is very homey and comfy. We recommend!

First, we got a reservation for 6 people at 6 pm on New Year's Eve! The food was great, the service was great. NYE is a totally crazy time to go anywhere. I think the only hiccup is that it's just not clear if you should just line up outside or try and barge in and check in with the host. Maybe a sign on the door explaining the preferred process would be better for everyone.

The food was delicious reasonably priced the service was very attentive. It is a small restaurant and we appreciated that they kept our reservation for six pretty much right on time. Nothing fancy inside the only negative I have for this restaurant is that when the bill came they tacked on a 20% tip which is completely fine however they didn’t note that anywhere, or verbally tell us, and I find that that is deceptive because some people just pay the bill whereas I look at the details of the bill and found that they had added the 20% without notifying us without putting it on the bill or even having it on the website that parties of six or more would incur an automatic 20% gratuity. So by them doing that I did not add any additional tip. I just put in the tip section that it was. “ included.” so in our instance, it was a disadvantage to them because we would normally tip more than 20%.. so I would suggest to this restaurant to be honest with regards to their gratuity policy

Panza has been our go-to in the North End for many years. The food and people are top notch. The mushroom and goat cheese spring rolls and Caesar salad are a great start. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I love their chicken parm and free form lasagna.

Waited more then 40 mins to sit after our reservation. They routinely do not manage reservations well, at all. Terrible system that doesn't manage the OpenTable reservations at all

We go to Panza’s every trip to Boston. Always a wonderful experience. We had the Burata as an appetizer to go with the delicious crusty bread. We also had a bottle of their local Chianti. My wife had the Veal Marsala and I had Veal Panza, like Veal Marsala but with roasted red tomatoes, spinach, and pine nuts added. All was delicious, service was excellent, in a small quaint North End Italian restaurant. Oh and the price was very reasonable. Make a reservation.

The service was great but the food was not what we expected. Pasta was like the one I would do back home and we wanted a restaurant italian pasta. I got the Beef and Veal tortellini and it was bland.
