Paragary’s is a lively neighborhood restaurant with modern California flair, located in the heart of Midtown, Sacramento. The menu and bar program are dictated by the seasonal bounty of the Sacramento region. Originally established in 1983, the restaurant underwent an extensive remodel in 2015, combining both modern and traditional elements to create a relaxed, timeless environment that lets the food and drinks take center stage. The light and airy interior opens up to the renowned dining patio that features waterfalls, 60 year-old olive trees and a large fireplace.

                                                      We had such great food! Started with mushroom salad and meatballs. Sooo delicious. Then had Mary’s roasted chicken and the linguini and clams. Everything was so tasty. We sat at the bar. Great service. Only negative was that it was sooo loud.

                                                      Had a reservation for 3 and high chair. Celebrating my mother’s birthday. We arrived early by 10 minutes and unfortunately all they had was was outside. They barely had any heaters out there and proceeded to seat us in the furthest corner of the restaurant with a child who is in a highchair… did not even offer us an opportunity to wait for an inside table. In my opinion, I thought it could be a little discriminatory because we had a child with us. It took about 20 minutes to get water on the table. Then it took about an hour to get our entrées (two pastas and a salmon) The salmon was $40 and it was about a half of a fillet.. it was good nonetheless however, I would not be back again.

                                                      We sat in the outdoor patio and the heaters were on so temperature was comfortable. We were there early and the vibe was casual, but as the night progressed the restaurant was full of hungry diners. Not to noisy bad, and conversation was still enjoyable.                                                       Be sure to sit on the patio with the waterfalls. It is heated so you can enjoy it year round. Butternut squash ravioli was excellent: the pappardelle with chicken was decent, but the chicken was a bit overcooked. The Brussels sprouts were well prepared. Good atmosphere and excellent service.

                                                      Paragary’s perfectly demonstrated Sacramento’s Farm to Fork culture to our out of town friends visiting CA for the first time. Dinner was fabulous! I love their courtyard, it is serine, the greenery lush, the fireplace is warm, and lighting perfect! A memorable evening, thank you!
