Park Avenue Tavern is the quintessential American bar and restaurant. Located steps away from Grand Central Station, Park Avenue Tavern is a combination of classic New York City elegance and top-notch hospitality. Operated by In Good Company Hospitality, the team behind other acclaimed NYC venues such as Refinery Rooftop, Parker & Quinn & The Wilson, Park Avenue Tavern proudly serves as the local favorite to the area's vibrant business community as well as Murray Hill and Park Avenue residents. The center island bar is the focal point to a vibrant dining and bar scene enhanced by the large windows providing expansive views of Park Avenue. The restaurant has 2 private dining or event spaces that can be reserved for corporate or social events including The Barrel Room which features self-pouring beer taps build into each of its 6 large leather booths. Addition gonflée par le serveur. Mauvaise foi de la manager qui nous dit « you are not american » au moment de régler le problème d’addition. Très mauvaise expérience.

Went to Park Avenue Tavern for my final dinner before leaving NYC. The amazing staff made certain that my experience was beyond perfect. The watermelon salad was so fresh and delicious. The tuna burger was sensational. And of course, the chocolate chip cookie skillet was the definition of heavenly. I am going to miss everyone there so much. Park Avenue Tavern will always be my favorite restaurant in NYC. I will be flying back regularly just to eat there!

The hostess and wait staff were very nice, the bartender didn't know how to make a Long Island Iced Tea. The food was fair at best, my grilled cheese was all bread and severed slightly warm at best. I feel like it was made at the start of the day then re-warmed for me. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

It never fails. They do not let us down. Lovely location. Outdoors, but with heaters if necessary. Attentive service. Food prepared as requested with great care and supervision by manager if there are allergies. Food is wonderful. Love it!
