The Parkside Rotisserie and Bar is a Manhattan-style bistro centrally located in the heart of Rhode Island"s capital city, Providence. One of the best restaurants in Providence since 1994. Serving lunch and dinner daily, the Parkside is surely a fantastic choice anytime. The Parkside offers a wide array of upbeat foods ranging from spicy crab cakes to grilled tenderloin and portobello salad. There are also several innovative pasta dishes as well as the Parkside's signature rotisserie meat items and daily specials. A lovely evening at Parkside, on a chilly Sunday evening, Parkside is a warm, cozy bistro, good wine and beverage list, a great menu and quite efficient service.. dinner was delicious, what a treat. We will be back soon.

Good food, reasonable price at a neighborhood restaurant. You can dine at a table or sit at the bar and watch a game on the 2 TVs. We had the colossal dumplings and mac and cheese along with the shirt steak and chicken breast. Everything was good.

Hadn't been to Parkside in almost 15 years. The food was amazing (short rib, crab cakes). Staff and service was great and overall one of the best meals I've had "out" in a long time. Will definitely be back.

Hello, we went to Parkside on 1/18/25. Food was great. It was our 9 wedding anniversary. I had put that in the reservation when made and that was never acknowledged as all throughout our dinner. Our waiter never mentioned any specials but did mention them to the couple next to us. Overall this place was ok. The restaurant sat us all the way in the back of the restaurant while i felt there were other tables that would have been a little nicer seeing we were there on a special night!

We eat here frequently and always enjoy a great lunch. The rotisserie chicken is our go to meal, followed by the apple tart. Always a terrific offering. We were assisted by Paula who was very attentive and responded splendidly to our request to finish up quickly to get back to the office. This is a great lunch and dinner spot. Highly recommended.

I booked a dinner reservation for a work event, and in hindsight I could not have made a better choice! The food was delicious and portion sizes were reasonable, so there was no need to take home leftovers; our server was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable; and the overall experience was upscale yet affordable. Highly recommend.

The service was absolutely amazing as always. My wife had rotissarie which was delicious and always is. I tried the seafood special, this is where this disappointment came. The baked stuff shrimp were good, but there was no drawn butter and when requested was unable to get any??? The risotto had absolutely no taste to it at all, very bland and very underwhelming. Lastly, it was to be topped with a U4 scallop, the scallop was definitely not a U4 but it was cooked perfectly. The drinks were very good, always consistent at Parkside. This is the first time I have ever had a disappointing meal in all the years we have been going there. Lastly, the table was way to small to enjoy even an appetizer but that’s the parkside in a Friday night. The amazing service, made this visits shortcomings one that I will surely let slide.

Always have an amazing time here. Sat in the back room for the first time, large table at the center of the room, was a bit loud, but for a Saturday at 7pm, was perfectly fine. Enjoyed the food & cocktails were served very quickly.
