The ever-changing menu features the freshest, sustainable seafood, slow-cooked meats, organic greens, and delectable desserts, all complemented by an award-winning wine list priced nearly to retail. Passionfish is proudly owned and operated by Chef Meral Alpay and her son, Berk Guvenc.     Even though I have watched the duck confit increase in price from $22 to $35 today over the last decade or so, it is still worth it. As is the banana ice cream maple bourbon bread pudding desert.

    We had a 7 pm reservation, Most diners were done by 7.30 pm and the place was empty. The staff were in a big hurry to get us out. One dish - the scallops was good. The second dish - the tuna - was on a bed of mostly potatoes with an occasional eggplant thrown in. The tuna was strange, overcooked and definitely did not taste like a fish!! The panacotta dessert was inedible.

    The food was very good! The wine took quite some time to get to the table, but a very good experience and we’ll be back.

    This a "must stop" any time we're in Pacific Grove going back several years. The menu is intriguing and has many temptations. I always choose one of the seafood options, because, duh!! Food is excellently prepared and plated. The servers are all impeccable in their approach to making the diner feel at home. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Can't really say enough about Passionfish. And I'm looking forward to the next time.

    Have been to Passionfish numerous times since we first discovered it nearly 15 years ago! We have NEVER been disappointed! There is a significant amount of seafood on the menu and it’s great! They also will have specials like the lamb shank I had (shared my wife’s black cod). Servings were not only beautiful and delicious but certainly filling! In the end all were delighted and satisfied and our friends who live in Carmel, said they would return! Once again Passionfish hit it out of the park. Corkage is also fair at $35 after having paid $200 at another well known Yountville Restaurant! Between the apps and entrees we had no room for dessert…. Definitely a gem that should be tried! A shout out to our server! She was awesome!
