The food has declined dramatically since the last time I was there. Nothing was really tasty.

Service was good. We were very disappointed at the Seafood Paella, which is suppose to be a signature dish. It was way too salty, and the seafood tasted stale. The dish was sent back, the server was prompt enough to take care of it. The replacement dish (Cornish hen) turned out to be really good.

One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The service is always exceptional and the food quality and presentation is outstanding.

Excellent experience, loved the restaurant,the the ambiance was lovely, the restaurant was warm and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the Gambas shrimp and the other dishes were well cooked and full of flavour. The only downside is that we felt a little rushed as they brought the small plates very quickly and then we were left waiting for our paella. We finished with the churros and torre de chocolate which was a nice way to finish the evening but I was a little disappointed to not be able to have a decaf coffee with my dessert.

5 Stars for the food, service and ambiance! Of course I wish it was cheaper, gets pricey fast. If you can afford it, go go go.

This is a great spot for Spanish tapas, but a disappointment for celebrating a birthday. The restaurant or Open Table asks during the reservation process if there’s a special reason you’re coming for the restaurant. I indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. Normally a restaurant provides a complimentary dessert or drink to recognize that it’s a diner’s birthday. The diner could’ve chosen from among thousands of Toronto restaurants to celebrate their birthday and all Patria does is put a candle on your dessert. If we hadn’t ordered dessert, there wouldn’t have been anything. When my fellow diner asked if something would be comped for me, the server said he would try and get something comped. He came back with a bill that charged us for everything. Nothing was comped for me and he wasn’t honest enough to say that nothing was comped. We’ll pick another restaurant to celebrate birthdays because Patria is cheap with their diners but their menu items and wines are not cheap.
