    The food was amazing. The service was great, they paid the right frequency of visits to our table. The valet parking was free, just tip them.

    We had to ask for water multiple times. One of which, we had to ask 3 different helpers to finally get it.

    The ambience was nice— the restaurant appeared to be as advertised. The waiter first arrived at our table and queried for drink orders. Subsequently, the waiter inquired as to if we were ready to order food. I ordered the lobster and my wife the mushroom pizza. The lobster comes out with two crawling/jumping insects on/in it. I took a video and showed the waiter when he arrived, he told me they would replate the lobster. Re-plate when the insects were in the lobster, itself? That wasn’t sufficient, sadly, and we asked him to take the lobster back and merely bring another mushroom pizza for our enjoyment. We came to the Pelican Grill for the lobster and were greatly displeased that the food had insects in it and there were little attempts at fixing the situation in an adequate fashion.
