Perry’s on the Embarcadero is a sleek waterfront outpost of the Union Street original, following the same combination of all-American favorite fare and comfortable, welcoming service that Perry’s first made a San Francisco hallmark in 1969. The décor is warm – murals reminiscent of the memorabilia made famous on Union Street, combined with exposed brick walls, a wood-burning fireplace and breathtaking views of the Bay and the Bay Bridge.

Perry’s is known today, as much as ever, for its classic American food, its warm personable service and its fun, bustling bar. Perry's traditional yet innovative menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks and grilled fresh fish. Perry’s on the Embarcadero is conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco’s bustling financial district, across the street from the Ferry Building, less than a mile from AT&T Park and easy to reach by public transportation from all over the city and the greater Bay Area.

Most wonderful waitress. My sole was a bit dry but still good. I always enjoy Perrys but eating out has become expensive.

We enjoyed our early dinner here in this cozy spot near The Embarcadero. We could see the Bay Bridge lights from our table and our service was friendly with low noise level so we could talk easily. Nice bar and cocktails available to go along with tasty comfort food entrees. We’ll be back!

Perry's is a great spot for good (not fancy) food and reasonable prices. Service is always good. The petrale sole and clam chowder are favorites of mine. I did, however, have the cobb salad yesterday, and it was good -- not the best I've had -- but good. My friends had the hamburger and sole and they were very happy.

I have lived in SF all my life, and this is the first time I have visited Perry's on the Embarcadero. I can't say enough about what an extraordinary experience we had, from the service, atmosphere and food (appetizers, drinks, mains and dessert). Will definitely return. Great job.

We have been coming to Perry’s since it opened in the late 60’s. It always delights us with the ambience, the service and the outstanding food choices. It has become a must stop every time we visit San Francisco. We want to give a shout out to Eleni this trip. Her service was excellent and we enjoyed visiting with her. She told us that Perry’s is her personal favorite restaurant in San Francisco and raved about the freshness of the ingredients. We agree!

Excellent service and the food was great. Enjoyed the steak salad and French onion soup was cheesy and delicious. Nice view by the window as well.
