Perry’s on Magnolia brings Larkspur an outpost of the Union Street original, following the same combination of all-American favorite fare and comfortable, welcoming service that Perry’s first made a San Francisco hallmark in 1969. The décor is warm – featuring the trademark blue and white checked table cloths, framed memorabilia and rich mahogany bar.

Perry’s is known today, as much as ever, for its classic American food, its warm personable service and its fun, bustling bar. Perry’s traditional yet innovative menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks and grilled fresh fish.

My favorite restaurant in Marin, so cozy and fun and reasonable. It’s our go to place for a dinner out or family event. Something for everyone on the menu…and affordable too.

Always enjoy this dining spot, great food and service. Only problem I had this visit was the staff and a couple patrons were using the emergency exit which was next our table! it was COLD. Often they would not close it completely finally commented and it slowed down use! Its an emergency exit!

Reservation went smoothly, they were responsive, great service from initial greeting. Good diversity of menu and everything tasted great.

We appeared to have an 18% tip added by the waiter between when we were presented the bill and when he ran our card. I’ve heard of this, but this is rhetorical first time I’m aware of it happening to me. It didn’t leave a great impression. Food was good but seems to have slipped since we last visited.

This is my favorite Perry’s location. My only criticism would be that the large screen TVs are very distracting to diners. I think that they should eliminate the ones in the garden and upper level dining rooms. Also, the fries were a bit greasy for my taste. Other than that, the service was fantastic, menu varied and affordably priced and it wasn’t noisy or overcrowded. Exquisite setting too.
