Faccia a Faccia is the new coastal Italian restaurant from award-winning chef and restaurateur Ken Oringer. Bar 10 is an upscale American bar and restaurant located on the lobby level of The Westin Copley Place hotel. Restaurant guests do not need to stay at the hotel to qualify for a table as it is open to the public. Forcella is bringing old-world Italian food to the North End of Boston.Nino Trotta — who owns Forcella alongside his girlfriend, general manager and co-owner Shannon MacGowan, and his brother, wine director Christian Trotta — say that the cozy, candlelit vibe of the restaurant sets Forcella apart in a sea of massive North End restaurants.“It’s tiny, 30 seats,” he said. “It’s perfect for a date.”The kitchen team has designed a menu that includes dishes from all over Italy, with a slight lean toward Naples, where the Trotta family is from. Primi dishes include meatballs, crispy quail, while pastas range from linguine alle vongole and risotto to gnocchi with braised rabbit. Salmon, ribeye, round out the menu.

    We had a wonderful experience dining at LUCIE on Saturday evening before the theater. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was superb. They also made the effort to get us out in time for us to leave for the theater. We’re looking forward to returning!

    Just had a lovely date night here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The filet mignon we ordered was tender and delicious, but the sides (whipped potatoes & brussels sprouts with truffle aioli), appetizers (raw tuna with kettle chips, clam chowder with bacon) and dessert (chocolate cake with ice cream & fresh whipped cream) were every bit as delicious. I loved the fact that the chocolate cake was both moist and chocolatey (usually only flourless chocolate cakes have enough chocolate flavor). The service was very gracious and friendly. I also appreciated that the restaurant wasn’t too loud, and we could enjoy a conversation without shouting at each other, unlike a lot of other restaurants with fantastic food that try too hard to be hip. A wonderful meal and night out!

    Friendly staff. Great food. Relatively quick. A little crowded next to other diners and a bit loud. Overall, enjoyed my visit and would dine at Trident again. Plus, books after brunch!
