Each of these "personae" is housed in a soaring two-story interior distinguished by a gently curving mahogany bar, fluted columns with ornate capitals, stunning original art, plush banquettes, cozy booths, starched linens, glittering glasses, and polished flatware. Overall, the ambiance is pure 1930's and 1940's - tasteful art moderne reminiscent of the glory days of Cunard and French Line ships. Fashionable and glamorous are the hallmarks. Nopa was a fantastic experience - haven’t been back for a decade and the food and service are as I remembered. Accommodated a seating request and a late guest arrival ; service was friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. Best porchetta ever tasted; agnolotti was juicy; fried chicken was addicting. Great desserts; good bar experience. Won’t wait so long to return again. Parking is a challenge; take ride share and avoid the stress.
