Here you'll enjoy a neighborhood tavern atmosphere, delicious menu and hearty portions. The extensive menu offers over-stuffed pub sandwiches, mouth-watering steaks, delectable pasta and seafood dishes and more including upscale, gourmet chef specialties daily. You'll even find authentic Scottish dishes such as Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips and Chicken Pot Pie. The Highlander offers an outdoor dining area like none other. The Bar also features many imported and domestic draft and bottled beers. The house draft, Belhaven Scottish Ale, has been brewed in Dunbar, Scotland since 1719. Sweet Lula’s Restaurant is a BYOB avant-garde unique Brunch and Dinner romantic cosy dining experience in Pitman, New Jersey. We won an award for our famous sweet potato sausage corn chowder. We are close to Rowan University.We are family owned and operated by executive chef Anthony Asbury (a very famous Puppeteer) he has an Emmy displayed in the restaurant and has worked with Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg. We also play movies which we project onto a large screen which is very unique ! We are a free-flowing scratch kitchen plus veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Keep your eyes out for Chef Anthony's British wife, Lula (a previous famous pop star and Model in the 80s), she may be singing a few songs on Friday and Saturday nights. We open Thursday to Sunday for Dinner 5pm-9pm and Brunch Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm. Come try our food and see what everyone is talking about. Steak and Seafood is our speciality.
