The Refectory is a stunning New American restaurant located on Lancaster Avenue in Villanova. The menu features modern and upscale interpretations of American comfort classics such as homemade pastas, wood-fired flatbreads, a raw bar, craft cocktails and specialty homemade desserts. Our kitchen's philosophy is to keep it simple and straightforward, with a lot of thought and technique put behind each dish and ingredient.The Refectory is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.     We had a good meal in the ball room . The entire staff is fabulous. The menu selections were nice. The only bad thing is that we couldn’t hear the Sinatra music that was playing in the bar area. You Should have had 2 singers or pipe the music into the ballroom area .

    This is one of our favorite restaurants. The escargots were delicious. Cesar salad was excellent. The duck was perfectly cooked. The lamb chop and filet mignon special was very good. Great dessert - Apple tarte with ice cream. Good wine selection. A perfect Valentine’s day meal after a great Eagles Super Bowl Parade.

    Excellent as Usual———I saw someone eating an avocado toast, and it looked so good I tried it, it was divine and the truffle fries outstanding. My husband really enjoyed his Special Breakfast and of course the flower pot bread with the cinnamon butter was so good.. The non alcoholic drinks were so tasty. I have had the alcoholic ones before, and they are great, but decided on non-alcoholic this time.. No complaints!!
