Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years.We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible. Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

Opened in June 1922, The Tam O'Shanter boasts a rich, storied history and warm, inviting atmosphere. We’re proud to be in our 10th decade of continuous service. We originally considered it a quiet pastoral road stop, since Los Feliz Boulevard was just an unpaved country lane traversed by rabbits and rabbit hunters, in that order.Everything changed when Walt Disney and his animators, set designers, and crews began trekking out between takes for a bite and a refreshment.     It was my first time dining at the Magnolia House with my husband and a great friend. We had the Sunday brunch. The food was fresh and delicious! We enjoyed all of our entrees. I had the Shakura which was excellent! My friend had the Soft Scramble with a cup of fruit.My husband had the scrambled egg sandwich which he liked very much. The coffee was great! Our servers were very attentive! I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the chairs were so comfortable! Highly recommend!!

    Our first time, and what a wonderful experience!! Fabulous ambiance,a great meal of classics, and a very helpful and delightful server. If it weren’t an hour from our house, we’d be here every week. The Tam is a treasure and a great night out.
