I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self. Classic Italian dishes grace the menu but are personalized with my unique touch. Quality and consistency is what you will find with each dish. I would never serve anything short of that. We love Annie Gunn’s. The crab cakes and shrimp appetizers are the best. We both had the grouper special and it was perfect. The best I have ever had! Service was good, the wine perfect. Always an exquisite dining experience.

We had a reservation during Friday lunch. It was moderately busy and we were seated right away. Trish our server was great. Food was delicious. I had the special which was a prime rib grilled cheese with tomato bisque and fries. Sounds simple but it was elevated and I really enjoyed it. My wife had a Carbonara pasta I don't remember the exact name, she really enjoyed it though.
