A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences. We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails. AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. We have visited Mastro’s in Newport and Costa Mesa but first time at the Penthouse BH location! Food quality was great as expected but our service was exceptional! From our hostess Willow, to the manager Karina, and the service team, especially Gary was fantastic!

As soon as you walk in, the energy is palpable. There is low lighting and loud music. The wait staff is very friendly and happy to explain the menu items to you. We were comped several food items and Wolfgang Puck himself walked around and made conversation with every guest in attendance, completely memorable experience and just one more thing, the From the Hearth and Filet Mignon were FANTASTIC!

Had a great experience at Mr Chow. Everything was perfect. It’s expensive but considering its location and the quality of the food and service, for a special occasion it was worth it.

As expected lovely evening meal. Delicious food and attentive service. Enjoyed the presentation of the cheese plate, and explanation of cheeses and accompanying honey and mustard. Such fun to celebrate a special evening at Spago.
