The Plumed Horse Restaurant has been a beacon of South Bay fine dining since 1952. Led by Executive Chef Peter Armellino, it is a destination for those travelling to visit, yet retains its landmark status as a place to relax, unwind, enjoy, and indulge for locals. Michelin has agreed, awarding Chef Peter a star for 15 consecutive years.Chef's tasting menu, composed of multiple courses featuring items from local farms and fishermen, is the highlight. Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.     Pricey but delicious food! We liked getting plates over time one after the other after ordering just once. Delicate, flavorful and nicely plated. Service was on par. The only thing was the high level of noise being sitted so close to the entrance and bar: it was really hard to understand the waitress and all her recommandations.

    Delicious restaurant that is gluten-free too! I intended on trying a pasta dish but ended up getting their polenta dish. It was AMAZING - there was a savory/umami broth on top of the polenta with house-made sausage and mushrooms stewed in rosemary. Highly recommend!

    Booked a dinner for my parents 25th wedding anniversary and said they had a blast! They couldn’t stop talking about how great the service was and how kind all the waiters were to them and greeting them! They also said the food was great!

    Came for the Valentines Day special and had the tasting menu - food was excellent and the dishes had very complex textures and flavors, and everything was clearly curated very carefully and intentionally. The staff was surprisingly attentive and pleasant despite how busy it got, and they even took the time to take a polaroid of us and present us our photo with a small paper flower. 100% would return
