Went for Dim Sum Sunday. Highly recommend the tempura green beans. Great service and a beautiful restaurant.

We would not be overstating by saying that it is the absolute BEST breakfast/brunch in the city! The food is exquisite, the staff are top shelf and the atmosphere is relaxed elegance.

We love this restaurant. It is definitely the most sophisticated and interesting food we have found in the Maritimes. The pasta dishes are clever and beautifully prepared. The fish has always been exceptional. Great oysters and a complex wine list. Our favorites last night were the warm mushroom salad- so tasty and so complicated. The ravioli with braised cabbage was out of this world. A little heat from a chili oil, the crunch of the perfectly braised cabbage, the perfectly cooked pasta; it all came together beautifully. We will keep coming back. I would also urge people to realize that you are receiving very good value for your money here. There is a multi-course tasting menu for less than $100 or you can go ala carte. You can combine small plates and have an array of lovely bites rather than a massive main. We had four drinks and five plates between us, including oysters to start, and our bill, with tip, was under $200. To have food this well prepared, and exquisite service, for this price is a big win!

Service was exceptional from start to finish. I had the five fishermen burger and roasted romaine. The burger was fantastic, melt in your mouth high quality meat and perfect bun. The roasted romaine was ok but I would have rather a Caesar salad. My husband had the strip loin and lobster tail. The lobster was cooked to perfection and the steak also. He was very happy with his meal. I didn’t find any deserts that was to my liking but we had an orange cream sickle type thing that was okay. The price is high but overall would return again.It was Valentines Day and I received a red rose which was a wonderful touch 💕

One of the best Dine Around menus. And always a pleasure to enjoy dining at Gio. A perfect food selection & a varied wine list. Very good pricing on both food & wine & a lovely atmosphere. And most definitely wonderful, personable & attentive service. The meal was delicious & certainly to be repeated. Thanks so much to Olivia for your outstanding service!
