Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. Jeng Chi has maintained its consistency since it first opened in the 1990s. While there are many newer restaurants serving similar items, we keep coming back here over the years. Our favorites are Small Juicy Dumplings, Green Onion Pancakes, Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Rolls.

It’s my new favorite place! We had the bleu cheese fondue to start. So yummy! And I had the chicken fried chicken and my husband had the short rib. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable, we sat on the patio which was heated. Our waitress was great.

I ate at this wonderful little place and it exceeded any expectations. The lasagne was delicious and so was the mac and cheese. Our waiter was the best.
