From seating to dessert, our experience is always superb. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is cooked to perfection, and the view is one of our favorites. Tonight, for a second time, Nate was our server and as previously experienced, he gave us great service.

Although the restaurant was busy , the experience was great as always! The waitress was friendly , apprentice & efficient . The food came out promptly & piping hot . The The fish & chips & swordfish we ordered was fresh & delicious . Viewing The buoy covered lighted outdoor Christmas tree during insect was the frosting on the cake !

I have been to Hemenway's in the past and this restaurant never ceases to be top notch. The Service (shoutout to Mia!) was fantastic and the food and atmosphere outstanding. I highly recommend Hemenway's. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was pretty cool that our table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were greeted numerous times with a hearty "Happy Anniversary! by a number of the wait staff and greeters(?). Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

First time in newport and this restaurant was an excellent choice for dinner on the water. All the staff were attentive and really made the night special, the food was delicious!
