Selden Standard’s fare features flavors born in local farms, captured at the peak of the season, prepared in their wood-fired oven, and served small plates-style in shareable portions. Complementing the menu are wines from small producers, distinctive brews, and cocktails to suit the seasons. Selden is rustic and casual, but with an ever-present eye for quality, creativity, and fun. Chef Andy Hollyday is a 2023 James Beard finalist and four-time semi-finalist. Selden Standard was named a semi-finalist for Outstanding Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation (2024), and has been named Restaurant of the Year by both the Detroit Free Press (2015) and Hour Detroit (2016).

Serving up authentic, Mexican street fare, and a selection of over 100 tequilas and American whiskeys. Bakersfield is a spot where the food is simple, the service is warm and the atmosphere is alive.We do offer a heated outdoor dining experience during the winter months. These tables are located in a covered and enclosed tent with heaters spread throughout. We recommend dressing warmly if the temperatures outside are below 40 degrees.

Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce. From burgers to tacos, our menu offers a range of delicious options. We live the craft lifestyle - beer, cocktails and even craft food made from scratch.
