We celebrated our wedding anniversary at City Gate Grille in Naperville, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the live jazz music added something really special to the evening. The food was delicious, and everything came out on time, which we really appreciated. Our server was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was the perfect place to enjoy a great meal while listening to live jazz. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our special day. Highly recommend City Gate Grille for any occasion!

Beautiful brunch experience! From the engaging details of PUBLICO that were thoughtfully designed on the 1st floor space to the cozy “red glass room” which created a fun ambiance. The Latin American brunch menu which my church friend, Jan ordered a delicious double crab cake benedict with perfectly cooked poached eggs and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce complimented with roasted potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of the El Americano — eggs made to order (chose perfectly scrambled eggs), with 3 meats of sliced ham, maple bacon and chorizo sausage link along with those great roasted potatoes. Yum!!! Will definitely be back to try the dinner menu. Also service was very attentive by manager, Sandra, because we arrived for a late brunch at 1:30pm-2pm so there was just a few other tables. I think it was so new only 3 months open that this place — AltaVida! is a best kept secret because they haven’t done any advertising or promotion that they’re open for weekend brunch yet.

I wanted to experience food such as boursh and schnitzel. Always heard of it, but never sounded appetizing. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious!! Drinks were very good as well. I had a French martini and it was so good. We will go back to try some other dishes on the menu!
