Concorde has set the bench mark for exceptional premium casual dining in Calgary, so expectations are high when dining at one of their properties. Barbarella, as expected, hit it out of the park once again! Brad B provided exceptional, knowledge and personable service., drinks were fantastic - from the Crimson Lion cocktail to the well curated beer and wine list and every dish was delicious! The ravioli is one of my favourites dishes in the city and we tried a couple of their Valentine’s features, which were also fabulous! We also really enjoyed the table we were sat at, tucked away in a corner of the main floor.

Wonderful service, not only from the server but from the whole front of house team. Very balanced and creative menu. Cocktails were also very well put together and all in all very reasonably priced for the quality of food. We had 3 starters and 2 mains and had a tough time picking a favourite! We will definitely return to sample more of the menu as we had a hard time choosing. Highly recommend.

Lovely and relaxed late lunch at Pigeonhole downtown. Even though it was Valentine’s Day and a bit busy we had a relaxed and nicely timed late lunch and helpful and just-right attentive service. Food is excellent and loved the selection of by the glass wines. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of enjoying a Valentine’s dinner at Major Tom, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect mood for the evening. The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right without being intrusive. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience, and their genuine hospitality made the night even more special. As for the food, every dish was a delight! From the beautifully presented appetizers Oysters etc….to the perfectly cooked main courses and the decadent dessert, each bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chef truly outdid themselves, and we could taste the quality in every dish. Because of the exceptional service and fantastic dining experience, we were more than happy to leave a generous tip. It was well deserved, and we will definitely be returning for another memorable evening. Highly recommend Major Tom for anyone looking for great food and top-notch service!

One of the standout features of the restaurant is the transparent open kitchen, where we could see the chefs preparing steaks over an open flame. This not only added to the dining experience but also gave us confidence in the quality and freshness of the food. Our server was exceptional. He was attentive yet unobtrusive, patiently waiting for us to finish our conversations before addressing our needs. His recommendations were spot-on, and the dishes we ordered were nearly flawless. The dry-aged ribeye steak, in particular, was a highlight—rich in flavor and truly memorable. Overall, Hy Steakhouse provided a unique and unforgettable steakhouse experience. It was the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine's Day celebration, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
