Mamma Lombardi's is a family-owned traditional Italian restaurant. The Lombardi family has been actively serving food in Long Island for over 40 years. This little eatery has built its reputation on incredible Neapolitan recipes and a totally scratch kitchen. Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood.  Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily.  Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style.  The front wall in made up of French doors that open onto the water, providing dockside open air seating in warm months and picturesque views of the marina year-round.  The rear dining room is elegant with raise panel mahogany, white table clothes and blue and white nautical stripe wall paper.  We look forward to accommodating your special occasion in the separate catering room.  The restaurant stocks full indoor and outdoor bars so you'll never miss a beautiful night at this fun and entertaining spot.

    From start to finish, our experience at the Sunflower Cafe' was surprisingly satisfying. We were greeted with a smile and seated right on time. The Valentine's day menu was full of delicious choices. Cathy had the filet of sole meuniere, which she said tasted very fresh. I had the cassoulet, which was a HUGE stew with beans, spicy sausage, ham and duck leg confit. For dessert, we shared a scoop of vanilla ice cream drenched in an espresso shot. We even took home a slice of flourless chocolate cake which was still fresh the next day. This was our first time there, but definitely won't be our last!
