Nuvolari’s is a warm and inviting Italian restaurant, nestled on the Northshore of New Orleans in Old Mandeville. In 1979, after over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Joe Impastato opened Impastato’s in Metaire. Only 5 years before, his brother Sal opened Sal and Judy’s in Lacombe. Now the family of restaurants extends to Madisonville with the opening of Impastato Cellars on September 5, 2013. The Impastato family decided to bring the same traditional, authentic Italian cuisine to the table on the Northshore along with the old world ambiance of a 600 square foot wine cellar featuring over 400 labels, in addition to a wide variety of spirits and craft beers.

Open since October of 1990, The Dakota has been a pioneer in the culinary industry on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain.     We moved to New Orleans over 6 years ago, one of the draws was the vast possibilities for dining out. Although we will probably never exhaust our list of places to try we return again and again to GW Fins. It’s been #1 on our list for years now because they consistently deliver the best dining experience on every level, first and foremost the quality of the food and service. Last night was another perfect meal from appetizer to dessert, and Marlon was delightful. Much praise and many thanks go to Gary Wollerman and Chef Michael Nelson.

    Every aspect of the dining experience was superb. The food was as good as it gets, and the server could not have been better. 527 is our favorite restaurant. It’s always a great dining experience.

    Irene’s never disappoints. The food is amazing, and our Server, Honeybear was fantastic. If you want to treat yourself to a very nice dinner, go to Irene’s!

    Great food and fantastic proper service as we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Nuvo’s. Everything we ordered was excellently prepared and the visual appeal made us want more. Definitely an A+ experience would absolutely return for another proper lunch/dinner date.
