Nestled on the waterfront in Irvington, New York, Red Hat on the River is an American modern bistro serving satisfied diners since 2003. There's hardly a seat in the house that does not offer a spectacular view of the Hudson river. Banquettes and a pewter bar accent the space while the walls of this 100-year old renovated factory building are adorned with WPA-era art evoking a feeling of a turn of the century Parisian bistro.     What a wonderful experience. Staff was wonderful and the food really blew me away. The freshness and explosion of flavors puts them in my top 5 places to eat on the Hudson. GO! You will not be sorry.

    Chutney Masala reminds me of the truly great Indian restaurants back home (London) which is a testament to how great the food is here. We have been coming here for over 11 years and the level of food and service have never faltered. I highly recommend you try this spot for an authentic experience.

    I was here for Valentine’s dinner, my reservation was for 6:45 got there 6:40 and was sealed immediately. The waitress was very attentive. The food quality was very good, from appetizers to dessert. It was a little pricey but didn’t mind because service, food quality and ambiance were all good.

    Went for Valentine’s Day, got a great table because we went earlier in the night at 5 PM. Service was attentive, professional, and kind. Asked them to fix a temperature issue with my wife’s filet mignon and they immediately fired it up for resolution. Ambience was great. Food & drinks were 4-4.5/5.

    A fantastic experience. I treat my family to a fine dining experience every year in the days immediately after the Super Bowl. This year Banchetto Feast was chosen and no one was disappointed; we were all elated; the portions are beyond generous, the food is delicious, the menu is extensive, the service is attentive, the ambiance is conducive to a great dining experience.
