Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Contrary to popular belief, JJ's Restaurant is not named for popular owner Jimmy Frantzé. In 1985, Jimmy purchased JJ Malane's from his former business partner and the saloon's namesake. Malane's went away, but JJ's remained, and a West Plaza fine dining icon was born. Jimmy invested his enthusiasm and passion for exceptional contemporary American food, steaks and wine to build one of the finest restaurants in Kansas City just a block west of the Country Club Plaza. He helped create an environment that attracted and kept one of the most professional staffs in the region. He inspires so much loyalty that when the new JJ's reopened 18 months after a 2013 fateful fire, almost all of his staff re-joined him.

    Ben was amazing very kind and made us feel special. We appreciate the Anniversary message with our dessert. The music choice felt interesting for the setting, I understand it was a Monday but the multiple pop songs made the environment feel weird.

    We have an incredible dinner experience at Gram & Dunn! The restaurant was beautiful and festive and the menu was fantastic. But the best part of our experience was most certainly our waitress Andrea. She was outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable, so fun and engaging, knew the food and drinks so well and guided us well when we asked for help. She was an absolute delight! If you go here you should ask for her!

    Desde que llegamos muy amables no sentaron muy rápido la mesa estaba decorada hermosa con corazones y una rosa Roja espectacular un detallazo, nuestro mesero Reda que servicio detalles y profesionalismo comenzó reda con una brindis con champaña bebidas,_canasta de pan espectacular,aperitivos ostiones , camarones, langosta,tuna tartar plato fuerte cordero, ribeye papas gratinadas, espárragos, postre cheesecake, de postre de aniversario delicioso y pedimos 3 postres más cream burle , chocolate cake y otro cheesecake todo delicioso mis felicitaciones para la cocina como siempre para las mejores ocasiones no hay como The Capital Grill siempre un 100 en todo mil gracias por sus atenciones Kim la manager super atenta , Carmen la hostess, cocineros, bussers y todos el personal atención de lujo
