Family owned and operated for over 60 years, the restaurant is housed in one of America's oldest homes and features a romantic courtyard setting and numerous quaint dining rooms.Mary Mahoney's Old French House serves lunch and dinner six days a week and offers a variety of appetizers including our famous Broiled Crab Claws, Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Seafood Gumbo. Signature dishes served at Mary Mahoney's Old French House include Queen Ixolib, Fresh Fish of the Day topped with Lump Crabmeat, Sisters of the Sea Au Gratin and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Melba. Farm to table restaurant located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, just steps away from the beach and the Mississippi Sound. Located in a gorgeous restored and updated beach front home built in 1905. We use locally sourced farm fresh ingredients to serve a menu that changes daily with availability of fresh ingredients as well as with the changing seasons. We offer craft cocktails, local beers, an extensive list of fine spirits and wines paired with a dining experience that is second to none.Austin Sumrall is the Chef and owner along with his wife, Tresse. He was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America. White Pillars has been recognized and awarded in many state and national publications since its opening in 2017. Austin was crowned " King of American Seafood" in 2021 and nominated by the James Beard Foundation as a semi-finalist for "Best Chef South" in 2020. His specialty is keeping his menu fresh and ever changing with local ingredients and a worldly flare.

    From the moment we walked in we were well taken care of. The food was specially great tonight and all servi e was next to perfect. We were celebrating our 46th anniversary and any staff that walked past offered a heartful congratulations. Food was very good from our crab through the these cake dessert!

    I dined on their beautiful French-Quarter style balcony. The brunch menu featured a wide variety of southern favorites, along with some unexpected flavor pairings! The duck poppers, shrimp and grits, and the pumpkin spice French toast were all amazing! The only thing that better than the food and ambience was the amazing service! I am so glad I was able to get a table! This place is truly one of Biloxi’s better-kept hidden gems, and I cannot wait to return!

    We had a great time! We went for our anniversary and they went out of their way to make us feel special. A personalized menu and a picture of us were amazing. The food was almost so perfect; just one dessert we weren’t fond of. Everything else was absolutely delicious. The portions were very good and we definitely got a good value. Our waitress was phenomenal. She answered all questions and was attentive. We will be returning.
